So having purchased quite a few AMD GPUs over the past six months, I had a bunch of Never Settle Reloaded cards with codes for three free games: Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, and Far Cry: Blood Dragon. I used one set for myself and then sold the others. Come to find out, somehow AMD is backordered on the codes for Bioshock. How is this even possible?
Well, I know how it's possible, but I don't under stand why this would happen. You print a set number of cards, and I would go off the assumption that you need the three above games for every card that you print. But marketing deals are always weird, and so somewhere along the way AMD ended up buying fewer Bioshock codes than they printed, and now they've run out and are trying to negotiate another purchase of codes. Ugh.
Sorry to the three people that I sold my last Never Settle Reloaded codes to -- you'll get your games eventually, I think, but even that's not guaranteed. You see, the wording of the promotion contains "while supplies last", which means supplies of the codes, not the Never Settle cards. Best case scenario is that if AMD doesn't send out Bioshock Infinite codes, maybe they'll send out codes for some other game instead -- preferably a newer title, as opposed to say Tomb Raider, Hitman: Absolution, or one of the other games they've given away with hardware in the last year.
